Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 13/1 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Criminal Investigation Unit Police paralyzed one of two jambret (mugger or popularly known here as king of no mercy) with a shot for trying to resist when arrested.
"The perpetrator fights against the officers, so it must be disabled by gunfire," said Banjarmasin police chief Senior Commissioner Anjar Wicaksana Sik through the Head of Criminal Investigation Police Commissioner Arief Prasetya Sik here on Friday.
Sah alias Ro (27), resident of Jl kelayan A, South Banjarmasin, was shot in the calf right foot on Friday morning at around 5:45 am by the crime and violence police (Jatanras) of Criminal Investigation Unit.
After developing the case, the police managed to arrest his friend, AH alias Am (19) resident of Jl Pattimura, South Banjarmasin.
Former police chief of Jorong, Tanah Laut district, said of the results of investigations in the field known to both actors have eight times doing mugging in eight crime scenes in the jurisdiction of Banjarmasin Police.
