Chief of South Kalimantan Ombudsman Norkholis Majid said on Thursday, this idea appears as Ombudsman often receives complaints about children dismissed by the school and can no longer connect to other school. They were denied. "Usually there is a case of students who have problems, perhaps because of pregnancy or commit a criminal act, dropped out by the school. Unfortunately, there is no continuation for the future of the children's education," he said.
It is, for the Ombudsman, violates the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945 Article 31 paragraph (1) which states that every citizen is entitled to education. "There should be a solution for this problem. It could be in the form of a special container with educators who can manage them well," he said.
The idea has supported by Chairman of Commission IV Banjarmasin's DPRD Aman Fahriansyah that special coaching is needed for children who are still in school ages to continue formal education as others.
"The idea of ​​a special school for troubled children need to be followed-up. We support it to be done as soon as possible," said the PPP politician.
Meanwhile, Head of Education Agency Murlan revealed that children with problems that can no longer connect to formal education in schools could follow school equivalency education, either package A, B, or C.
