Banjarbaru Offers Flour Mill

Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The Banjarbaru government offers post-harvest program to various parties to increase the area development and the industrial potential of the city.
"The programs offered like flour mills and fruit canning," said Head of the Banjarbaru Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Agency Muhammad Rustam on Saturday.
Banjarbaru has a potential industrial area, Lingkungan Industri Kecil (Small Industries Environment or LIK) in Subdistrict Liang Anggang and the surrounding area to the west of the city.
LIK layout and surrounding is strategic, in addition to close to the state road also easy access to the Port of Trisakti Banjarmasin. This relatively favorable in terms of transportation costs.
"LIK Liang Anggang quite close to the Port of Trisakti which is 20 kilometers, so as to facilitate the raw materials delivery and distribution of processed products," he said.
According to him, the ease of clear benefit because the owner can develop the venture capital without worry of having difficulty land and sea transportation lines that can be used at any time.
The post-harvest program offers to investors, he said, as Banjarbaru is more appropriate as a processing center.
